We are a small group of undergraduate students at McGill University in Montreal organizing McGill’s “first-ever” student-run course. The topic we have decided to focus on for Winter 2009 is “student movements.” This will be the second instalment of IndyClass. In Fall 2008, students focused on the theme of “prisons.” The site for the Fall 2008 Indyclass has been moved to indyclassfall08.wordpress.com.
IndyClass strives to engage students with each other (and with non-students!) in pursuit of an alternative education that’s autonomous, accessible, and relevant to real communities — not to mention exciting, challenging, and loads of fun.
